I know that this forum is mainly aimed at human healing, but I am still hoping that it is acceptable for me to ask a question about my healing for animals? I keep chickens, and my rooster got start in barbed wire and sustained an injury to the breast area this morning. He seems to be hurt, but still in relatively good condition so I really want to try and save him! Can anyone suggest herbal remedies to cure a wound on the chicken's breast?

Wow, I have to say that this is not something that I was expecting when I clicked on the topic! I do feel for your rooster though! You clean the wound out with luke warm water and disinfect it using tea tree oil, if you have that handy. Iodine will also do fine of course. Then, I think you should add some blackseed oil to his water so that he will heal faster. Good luck!
