I have a medium size bump on my buttocks about 2 inches from my anus. This bump showed up the other day and it seemed at first to just be an irritated part because of the thong i was wearing that day. Today it has become bigger and has a white tipped head on it much like a pimple. It is very tender to the touch and I'm scared to pop it. I dont think this is herpes just because I am a virgin. I was wondering if this could be an ingrown hair or a pimple because the only way I would have come in contact with an STD would have been by using public restrooms and from what I've read that is highly unlikely. I'm planning on seeing a doctor but im terrified that I might have an STD. any help to fix my fears????
I had something like that years ago, and thought the same thing you did. My doctor told my it was a cyst (= nothing to worry about) and i should take hot baths and it would go away. Still don't be emberesed to call your doctor they're there to help you, and their advise is always better then the things people can tell you on the internet.
