Hey I'm 16, female, and I had sex with my guy friend yesterday. Today when I woke up I noticed my vaginal lips were all wrinkled and ugly. Please don't tell me "vaginas come in all shapes and sizes and its normal!" because no, my vag isn't usually this wrinkled. Maybe its normal... But i'd just like to know why its like that. From morning till now it seems like my vaginal lips are going back to 'normal', so yeah if anyone could just tell me why that happens id appreciate it!!
There are some problem, It's necessary to examine your case. Many women who had sex (sexually actives) don´t have that problem. It's no common at all. The last month I saw a 15 y. o. girl with a vaginal hurt, I prescribed her some medicine, right now she is Ok.
Can you be more specific? Does it hurt? Was it your first time? Bleeding or anything?
I have noticed changes similar to that in the past (I'm only 23 so it's not like it's been TONS longer than for you :)) and it never hurt, and it usually got better/less noticeable/I stopped caring. Vaginal skin/tissue is pretty delicate, and if you're not used to having sex or having it very regularly I think it's pretty normal for it to have an effect when you do, sort of like if you get a blister on a delicate part of your foot when you wear new shoes (but obviously less drastic, I hope you don't have blisters!!)
I think, like you said, they'll be going back to 'normal', or at least less noticeable. I have now had a steady boyfriend for a couple years and we do it really often and I don't notice the change in tissue anymore. I think it's probably a combination of muscles and skin that don't get 'used' often so they get a little tired when they do get some attention :)
Also, vaginas DO come in all sorts of styles, and while you're right to not want that as an answer (you should be noticing changes in your own body, that's good!) you shouldn't call it 'ugly'!
