Hi there! I keep hearing about hgc levels in pregnancy but I can’t figure out what it is about. Does anybody get it? Please, can I have some info on the topic! Thx!
HGC or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a hormone produced by women only during pregnancy. The level of this hormone rises in the first 3 months of pregnancy and home pregnancy tests are designed to recognize the presence (urine tests) and the quantity (blood tests) of this hormone in order to tell if a woman is pregnant or not.
