Hi, I am 25 years old male and I am exercising in the gym for last couple of years. I would like to increase my body mass and to build up even better shaped figure. I am intending to use some hormones to improve my strength but I have heard from the people in the gym that hormones may cause heart problems. I would like to know something more about that.
Hi, you didn't say what hormones exactly you are intending to use. Male sex hormone testosterone is pretty popular among people who are exercising in the gym because of its effect on muscle strength. However there were studies which showed that testosterone is activating genes which enable accumulation of cholesterol in the blood vessels and cause heart problems. Hormones also have other side effects so it would be better to think twice before you decide to use it.
