I have always had very light periods. About 3 to 4 days, the only heavy day being the 2nd. I started my period when I was 11 and now am 22 and for the past about 5 months my periods have been miserable!!!! They have gone from very light 3 to 4 days ( once a month ) to 6 to 7 days of heavy HEAVY bleeding constantly. They started out coming twice a month and the past two months I have literally been on my period on and off for a month. Currently I am on my 9th day of HEAVY bleeding!!!! My doctor put me on birth control and I'm almost at the end of the first month but it still hasn't done anything.... :( I do not know what to do.......
