I'm waiting for results of blood tests and am waiting for a date for a uterine scan to confirm fibroids but it seems to be a likely culprit!

I definately feel your pain. I'm 30 years old and I've had painful cycles since I was 12...although it has never been THIS painful. I suggest you talk to your doctor about cysts/tumors/fibroids.
I started getting stomach cramps 3 days ago; which made me think that I caught a stomach bug or a virus. It seems every time I ate something I would start cramping up. It did not feel quite like menstrual cramps...until I got my period this morning. I now have horrible lower abdominal and back pains. Another symptom is vaginal throbbing (not in a good way). Usually an 800 mg Ibuprofen and a heating pad take the pain away, but it doesn't seem to be working.
My dilemma is that I do not have any health insurance -- I am currently looking for employment. I cannot afford to see my GYN to discuss these problems. I'm a bit scared that I may have another cyst/tumor/fibroid. I had surgery 6 years ago to remove a 7.1cm ovarian cyst that was twisting my right ovary...
