Hi, there. The best things against scratching are H1 antihistamine crèmes and ointments. They are often used with allergies. They block H1 receptors and prevent histamine to take effect. Histamine is one of the substances responsible for allergic reactions. This crèmes are indicated for itching. Zyrtec is one of these crèmes. If itching is serious, you can take tablets like Claritin. You can even try with sleeping tablets, but only if previous mentioned medications don’t help. In any case, talk to your dermatologist. I hope you’ll feel better.
