I'm 15 about to be 16 next month and me and someone I really like are tryin to get to this point where we have sex but before I do I really need to know how does it feel to loose your virginity and how does it feel when your hymen pops I know all about the hpv and the sexually transmitted deseases and I have thought it over for a while now and I know what I want to do and this is it! but I must know how does it feel I dont want any last minute surprises or setbacks on my decission! also will there be alot of blood involved because if it is should I put a towel down! and another thing how do I know it popped and when it does do I stop what I'm doing as soon as possible or do I continue until I'm finished?

First of all, your hymen may already be broken. If you can get a mirror and look down there you should be able to tell :-) Sex doesn't ALWAYS hurt the first time. If your hymen is broken it might not hurt at all. Things to help make it feel better are be relaxed, go slowly, and use a lot of lubrication. Foreplay is very important as well.
If your hymen ISN'T broken you should feel some pain. How much pain varies from girl to girl as I've heard. (I don't remember how mine felt when it broke, as it broke before I started having sex)... I would put down a towel underneath if it's not broken yet just in case there is a small mess.
Oh yeah, and after he pushes through your hymen you can continue having sex slowly as long as you feel comfortable with it. If you feel too much pain you can tell him to stop. A lot of girls find it not that painful after the initial "breaking" of the hymen and can continue having sex.

firstly at your age you shouldn't be thinking about breaking your virg... but since we are living in an ever changing society where people are asking " why should wwe marry? when we can move in together and have sex and all the other things you should be saving for marriage. think about it if you experience everything now... your life is going to turn out pretty boring by the time you hit 23 8-| ok lets get back to the point. nobody can tell you to WAIT but before you do it ask this guy if he can wait 2 more days after the agreed date if he has difficulty doing this and questions your motives HONEY STOP..... the experience varies from woman to woman, i'd say in most girls/women over 17 or 18 it probably doesn't really hurt so much if at all as the hymen tends to get thinner the older you are. a lot of the painful experiences come from younger girls and may also relate to them not being ready/it being rushed. the experience can go very smooth and painlessly.

Well, I broke my virginity about 5 months ago. I used to do the same exact thing, type in my question about will it hurt, and read all the replies. And I would take each one into consideration. But all I got to say i no matter if you go through with it or not, make sure it's the right person. Because having sex is not just a physical thing, it's also mental. And if your not ready mentally then you'll crumble. Just whoever does it make sure they take their time, respect you, and make sure he's not taken already.
