I have to admit that I am starting to dislike winter more and more as I get older. I do not mind the weather, but colds and nose problems are really annoying, I always have coughing problems, nothing serious but it is there to remind me I am not 100 ok. This year I will try with Vicks Vaporub, how does it work in the first place?
This medications starts working almost immediately after consuming. It is not common for this drug to have some serious side effects, and it is recommended for diabetics as an alternative for coughing meds that contain sugar. Its active ingredients are Camphor, Eucalyptus oil and Menthol. I give it to my daughter abd it really helps.

I don't think they meant you eat it, they meant diabetics can't have cough drops with sugar, so this (topical) can be used instead of taking something orally.
