Cymbalta is terrible. I have been on it for around 10 years. My liver enzymes are up also. They said this drug wasn't addictive. I went on this for Fibromyalgia & nerve pain after Shingles. Now, I am so sorry & quit cold turkey. I am sick at my stomach, headache, mean & hateful, can't sleep, pain so bad in my back that I can hardly walk, dizzy , disoriented, clammy then so sweaty. I am not suicidal thank goodness for that. I would never advise anyone to take this medicine. I really believe it kills you slowly by attacking your liver and nervous system. FDA wake up.

What vitamins? I've been on Cymbalta for 2 years to treat nerve damage and now i'm getting off. I've tried everything and currently I'm pulling 30mg capsules apart and only putting half the beads back in. I've gone 58 hours since my last (15mg custom) pill. I never get ringing in ears or dizziness. I get tingling sensations throughout my body with the feeling of numbness all over. I have experienced a few emotional episodes as well as bits of rage. I'll do anything to get off of this mad drug!

Yes, This is EXACTLY what happened to me as well. I have been off for five weeks now and I'm still suffering through the withdrawal symptoms. Thank you for sharing!

I took Cymbalta for the first time ever on Sunday and I had the worst experience ever!! Once it was fully in my system I felt strange like I wasn't in control of my body and was on pilot mode, my head felt like it was buzzing and I felt sick to my stomach to the point of puking, I couldn't even eat!! I had the worst time trying to go to sleep and was up off and on all night, I felt paranoid, by far the worst feelings ever!!

My question is how long does one pill last in the system? Yes I'm a little over weight.. But I still feel like sh*t and want it to just go away already!

I agree. I have had the same symptoms and both my doctor and pharmacist claim it is not the Cymbalta.... it IS the Cymbalta..(they only know what they have been told!). I did a 7 day liver detox and it seemed to help a lot! dizziness and ringing in the ears is now completely gone, but I have some "unusual thoughts" of sadness and anger. Getting better every day. 9 weeks weaning 2 weeks no meds. Hang in there, draw close to the LORD...HE will never leave you or forsake you

I'm frightened after reading all these things about withdrawal, from Duloxetine. Can a really very slow withdrawal help to reduce al the side effects, and what else would help?

Do not start on this medicine if at all possible. I have had the worst time coming off of this. My brain is in a fog. My body is sick. My stomach is a mess. If at all possible, never get started on it. If I had ever known it would be like this to come off this stuff I would have never started.

Did you just stop? I've been on it for 7 years and I'm stopping today. If feel like such c**p. Been doing research all day. I'm on other meds also. Sleep and anti inflammatory. Also abilify and depacote and Klonopins.

Your wrong...they will admit you for anger/rage problems. Our psych ward regularly has "mood disorder" patients that are so angry that staff fear they may hurt themselves or others.
