1. long runs - 1x/week
2. tempo runs - 1x/week
3. intervals - 1x/week
4. fartlek - Whenever / not scheduled
5. recovery/easy - Most of my runs are in this category and I rarely call them easy runs because running is never 'easy'. Sitting on the couch watching Springer and downing Pabst Blue Ribbon is 'easy'.
I don't specifically train for hills because every route that I have is hilly. It's just part of the GA terrain.

One long run. I used to do the Riff Raff Speed Workout once a week. I am going to start it again when I get back up to normal mileage.

Well I like to think that I do a long slow distance, a fartlek and also hill training, but I think that in reality I'm really a one speed wonder, and its just the distance and terrain that varies .

1 :( although when I was in full training mode before the fractures, I did notice that I actually could run "easy" with a slightly slower than me running partner and it was different from my normal solo "regular" runs.
My favorites are the longer ones.

Just one right now, but it consists of hilly one mile loops around my neighborhood. Sticking to an easy pace as I base-build for marathon training in mid-June.
