My fried and I decided to start with cardio exercise seriously because we have little heart problems. We watched some program on TV about these exercises and I found that they are not too hard. But we don’t know how much cardio exercise is advisable? Can somebody give me that information?

You'll find that 20 minutes is usually the recommended length for this kind of workout and most people wouldn't want to go much longer than that. You can use any activity or machine. I think that thirty-minute workouts every day are good for cardiovascular health. And, of course, any exercise program should include warm-up and cool-down exercises.
