How soon can i have sex after a routhine hemorrhoidectomy?
Well, as a guy I can say I had zero interest in any of that for probably three weeks due to the pain. For half of that it was hard just to pee so there was little chance of anything else. Once my ability to urinate went back to normal so did everything else.
My doctor said to wait 2 weeks before having sex. I only lasted 1 week and 5 days. It wasn't my best performance but I felt fine afterward. I would just say let your pain dictate when you are ready.
As a guy I went two weeks without any type of "release". That was nice and stressful. I was able to take it easy and de-stress myself for a while till I recovered some more. I would say it was about 2 months before I had sex again but just be careful.
As a woman my doc told me 6 weeks. No problem for me, but my husband is disappointed... :$
Can you explain to me how much longer it took you until your sex life was back to normal? Would you say that it was a three week period or did it take longer than that? Let me know because I have a friend who's curious. Thanks!
Not sure but here is my horror story, i never told my boyfriend about it and e doesnt know and i already avoided him for almost 2 weeks and this wknd its his bday and he absolutely wants to see me! Its only been about 10 days post op and this is gonna be tricky and awkward as hell but im gonna try to pull it off...just hope he doesnt "miss" and hit the area :( just go with the level of pain and ask ur lover to be gentle i imagine because it wont fully heal before 3-6 wks and no one wants to wait that long :P
I would say at least a month to be very safe. And that includes fingering...
I had the surgery about 5 weeks ago and it hurts really badly everytime I have a bm... I am glad I did it though as my roids were disgusting. I now realise I have a small skin tag which I realise the doc may have missed to remove. I am planning to live with it as the pain is terrile and can feel it thru the pain meds.. OOOOOWWWWWWW.
I started dating about a few weeks ago and because everything down there is so damn painfull 10/10, I cannot imagine having sex right now, said that I would only have sex only if I was in love. Needless to say he never called me again...LOL.... Nevermind, I did not really fancy him anyway...

Exactly after two weeks I got the erection but of no use. I thought of masturbating that day just to check if all is well. It was painful. So thank you for all your posts. I am not going to touch it for the next 1 month.
I would suggest u to consult a proper doctor and remove the extra skin rather suffering pain as I have gone though but now iam painless and feel relaxed just waiting heal my stiches...

Be careful he doesn't have anything STDs or any other infections. Keep that area clean use a sitz bath a lot!!! Everytime you use the restroom or have sex. To relieve pain use pain meds but use an Ice pack in the area after you use the restroom. Valium, codeine, and Vicodin will be your best friend. Stay away from greasy or spicy foods!!! Sitz bath after sex!!!!!
