I just started birth control (yaz) and I was wondering how long after starting it can me and my boyfriend have unprotected sex? I believe the pamphlet said 7 days. I started my period on a sunday therefore i started yaz on that same sunday. So now that it is 8 days later do we still need protection or should it be in effect?
You should wait two weeks to be on the safe side.
