I am 22 years old. I live a pretty normal lifestyle. I have been having issues with my digestive tract for almost 7 months now. I had issues before but after about two months the issues went away. But this time i am unable to find any relief. I am dealing with bloating, burning sensations in my upper stomach, my face feels hot, neasea. No vomitting. I feel a little neasea when i wake up, i start to get ready for work when my whole body has this feeling like it is putting off heat. i will usually have a small item to eat for breakfast, about ten minutes after eating i will start to feel this tight cramping feeling in my stomach. i have normal bathroom habbits no issues there. i eat my lunch around noon everyday i can barely make it through my lunch and i get instant stabbing pains in my stomach, i will stop eating and have to use the restroom immediatly. i feel bloated all day long. i use to eat alot of fast food but i have been trying to stop the habbit and eat healthier,,,but i have no releaf from differnt foods they all give me the same issues. i will have two days a month to were i feel normal again. i just want some relief i have tried to change my diet, i have used ant-acids along with other acid/heartburn medicines. please let me know if you have delt with this or may know why i am going through this.

You will need to see a GI specialist who will do tests to find out for sure what exactly is the cause for all these problems and to prescribe you treatment, of course. This combination of problems you describe is known as gastritis and it can be caused by number of different things, from stress to bacterial infection. So, before you get to the doctor you have to watch what you eat very carefully and it really isn’t an option if you want to at least ease the symptoms. Eat small, but more frequent portions to minimize the effects of stomach acid. Avoid any food you find irritating, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty.

I have the same exact problem. I have a GI appt on Monday but I dont want to have these pains until then...is there anything I can do to reduce it? I take prilosec in the AM for acid reflux, I'm fine when I eat breakfast but I get the pains immediately after eating lunch. They last for about 3-4 hours and then I'm fine again
