Hello, I have just seen this, bit I too was sweating so so much when I was on Oxycontin.... I mean it was nasty I never smelt but was always wet. I had to change the bed almost everyday and if I used my bike a short ride and it would "drip" off me. It is nasty but basically your body is trying to purge its self of the drug to get you to take more. as it is excreted through your sweat. I was on it for 2yrs. I was taking a months supply in 2 weeks or less but I did give up. Cold Turkey and it was hell. But i followed the Thomas recipe. Oxy is evil. It bond to your nerves system a nasty drug.

I have been on Oxycontin 10 mg and Percocet for 5 months for severe back pain. My tolerance grew and now I am out of both medications. I abused them, sadly. I have 6 days until refill is ready. I am going through wicked withdrawals;restless legs, agitated, anxious, etc. I am not a big drinker. I have had 3 drinks in the past year. I wanted to know if alcohol will help alleviate my symptoms, until I get my script filled? I thought wine may help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Kratom withdrawal is as bad if not worse than opiate withdrawal. I do not recommend this product!

Tramadol IS addictive, and has the WORST WD symptoms. Way worse than hydro/oxy/roxy. I'm warning you, way worse..

kratom is highly illegal in many countries for a reason. and if you think you have a high tolerance to drugs and take a bunch, your stomach is going to kick you in the face with constipation. honestly tripping on acid while withdrawing might be better IMHO. tramadol is a narcotic pain reliever. dont go that route. no subuxone is a blatant opiate substitute gets you high if you take the whole strip imo. but really seriously if you can get a hold of like 60-100mg of diazepam or 6-10mg of clonazepam, and use it wisely you will be able to get through days 2-6 like a champ, and trust me you wont get addicted. i am precscibed to klonopin for anxiety and actually got sucked into trading for a feew percs one day and the rest is one long blur. i am open with my doc and he actually laughed at me when i asked how bad it would be if i tried cold turkey on the kpins, but he did say it takes weeks if not months to get adicted due to the half life. be a little more careful with xanax and ativan, those will make u mad when you come down and are easy to get addicted to quickly, its not a slow thing.
drink tea, take warm baths. listen to chill music, work out a tiny bit after a couple days, anything helps. i forced myself after day 5 to workout until i sweat every day and i think it really helped, also if you care a list of supplements i found actually helped me during opiate withdrawls:
NO SUBOXONE, ITS WORSE. TRUST.
-Magnesium(500mg minimun daily- may add to the sh**s a bit but one of the best things for your bone and muscle aches)
-perogesic pills(acetimanophan/diphenhydramine) for pain, much better than tylenol alone
-loperamide (immodium) take about 6-8 pills the first couple days then use them sparingly, best time is right after a massive eruption, i think you catch my drift)
multivitamin with iron, be careful with iron
-probiotic gummies
-b12, or any b complex vitamin
-smoke some weed, eat some weed, just get some cbd and thc in your system, just enough so you can eat and sleep a bit better. you can substitute benzos for the weed if your like totally against it or cant use it. i understand many people will disagree with this suggestion but it helped me immensly and ive seen it help others. remember your not going to get addicted to weed or benzos after a couple days.
-gatorade, and ocean spray make this cran-pomegarnate juice. thats where its at for cleaning you out without making the sh**s unbearable.
i know its a long post but i hope it helps someone, any comments are welcome as im just an ex-user with an opinion on what helped.

Dude it'll only get worse until you hit rock bottom. Find someone you love and trust and go to the Doctor and they will HELP YOU. The hardest part is
Not the withdrawal trust me. Its thinking that things will get worse and worse. I bit the bullett , told my parents and we went to a doctor together. She Gabe me scripts to tapper off that my parents gave to me and I had no withdrawal except for a couple sleepiness nights if that. You CAN do it man you just need to ask for help or else one day there won't be any pills and you'll have to go cold turkey and trust me thats waaaaay worse. I really hope you reach out to someone BC they will help you

Hello all I suffered an accident at work first dr said pain meds Vicodin 750 1.5 yrs worth it started to make me sick went to the next dr and had surgery then a pulmonary embolism then more pain it's been three years now facing another surgery and taking 10 325 norcos life has been hell and side affects suck I stopped taking the norco as of yesterday and had an old script of Xanax that I've been holding onto for today the withdrawals are bad and the pain is increasing so I'll keep going for a week my plan is to take .5 mg of Xanax for one week then take one every other day then stop and drink beer. I know this will work because it worked before when I took Paxiland Valium 40 mg Paxil and 20 mg Valium every day for a year. I had to detox off of it instead of taking something else I drank beer for a month. I hate alcohol but it helped soo much that in 30 days it was over and I stopped drinking when I had no more symptoms of withdrawals any howthe only thing now is there is another surgery looming and when it happens next year ( because of the pulmonary embolism I'm waiting to be off blood thinners) I am taking another approach to pain managment .

Tramadol is what I need to get off of. It *is* addictive. I've been on it since 11/11 (to get off of vicodin following 5 months of recovery and set-back from back surgery). Now I can't get off of the tramadol. I tried something else recently that I discovered I cuold get without a prescription: tianeptine powder. Like tramadol, it is an opioid. Like tramadol and most opioids, the more you take, the higher you get. Naturally, I went from recommended amounts to abusive amounts within a few weeks. Now I'm taking tramadol again to try to cut back on the tianeptine. Bottom line: tramadol is not the answer, and neither is tianeptine. I'm scared to death of it, but I think it's time to end the addiction the hard way: cold turkey. Thanks to all for the sugestions.

I am about 32 hours off sub and 7 days off smoking h. I'm just kinda cold, kinda tired, and have some mild body aches. Luckily I tapered down off the h before quitting. And started with 2 mg sub. Then 1 mg. Then .5mg. And the last time was just a little bit of powder from a pill that got crushed. I prefer the strips though for sure. Hopefully I don't get that feeling like my skeleton wants to jump out of my skin. It's been hard to sleep at night and stay asleep. The sub definitely saved me, but I didn't want to get addicted to that and I'm lucky I didn't. So I stopped after 4 uses (this time around at least). Hopefully it's all uphill from here.
