Hpv Infection Goes Away??

i am 14 yrs old male..i found some symptoms of hpv like warts under my tongue and a few warts on my genital,..i noticed it weeks ago ...but i had sex over a year and we used condoms...does my hpv will go away ? :( im still young i wanna live my life ..pls help me..

There is a lot of inaccurate information on here about HPV. It is a virus and it does not go away even if the actual warts go away. You will always have the virus even when you don't have an active infection.....similar to herpes. Some people never have an "outbreak" and never know they have it. However if you get an outbreak of genital warts and then it goes away it does not mean you no longer have the virus. All the doctor can tell you is that you don't have an active infection (for males) or that you do not have abnormal cells for females. There is no routine test for men or women for hpv and a normal pap smear does not mean that you don't have an hpv virus. Most warts will go away on their own or they can be treated but once the warts are gone this does not mean the virus is also gone. Do research on your own not get medical advice from a forum as this. Also for the person that said all warts cause cancer this is completely inaccurate. In fact the hpv virus that cause actual warts DOES NOT cause cancer!!! A person may be treated for an outbreak of warts or they may go away on their own and they may never reappear but the virus is still present in the body. It is very similar to herpes just with less outbreaks and there is not always a visible outbreak. Most of the population has some form of hpv and many people never know they have it. Herpes is also a cause of cervical cancer not only hpv. Like I said do some research as there is a lot of inaccurate info on here.

You are correct in that virus does not completely go away. A Pap smear can only detect HPV when the virus is active. Once the initial infection has cleared subsequent tests will come back as negative. There is no blood based anti-body test for HPV. The HPV virus will never go away but neither does the chicken pox ;)

You will never have sex again and you will get penis cancer. Considering this post is a year old I imagine your either already dead or are in juvi

What is the treatment from Doctor?

Everyone has different experiences , here's mine

So I found out I had HPV and was completely devastated turned furious for having an STI and one that nobody not even the doctor were 100% certain about. My Doctor is pretty real and told me there was no cure however your body's immune system will clear it .
I wasn't 100% sold on that I lost my mind this year reading people's forums about how you will have it forever and ever, you'll get cancer , etc . Some forums of women who has to see their GYN every 3 to 6 months because their paps remain abnormal. (Scary sh*t)
My pap was not abnormal , I had no cancerous cells however I tested for higher risk HPV .. how idk, however I had to just educate myself on the infection to understand how serious and how underrated this disease is.
My doctor told me to come back in a year ( due to having a normal PAP), during that year I came back about three times just to understand WTF this HPV was, and to get the HPV vaccines (3 shots over 6months) my doctor told me because I was 25 I was able to get the vaccine against the other strands (they stop giving the vaccine for women after 26!!)
I took the vaccine , I created a light regiment eating garlic, taking vitamins , taking organic immune boosting supplements ) because I had to help my body do it's job in ANY WAY. I felt spoiled ☹️
The other day was my annual and thank god there was no trace of HPV Anywhere! I hope this helps ladies.
