When I breathe deeply, I get sharp pains on both sides of my lower back. It doesn't happen all the time, but it has been happening more lately, and the pains stay for maybe about an hour at a time. Could this be anything at all or am I just paranoid?
A weakening of the air sac walls of your lungs may allow air to escape to the pleural cavity when you breathe deeply. The escaped air causes pain until it is resorbed by your body. This is just my theory. I suggest you see a radiologist to get to the root cause of this.
