this last time I got sick I knew my time here wasn't much longer. I couldn't even have my normal toilet attack where I have a bowel movement, get the cold sweats, moan in pain, get weak and have to lay down until I can feel a little better. A gastro dr told me to change my diet, another gastro dr that did my colonoscopy said try more water and diet change. My family dr wasn't any help and anytime I went to the er, they said it wasn't life threatening. Made me feel like I was waisting their time.
An ultrasound and Ct scan found a few things and I was waiting on insurance to get me in to see more specialist and a surgeon for gall stones. But none of that explained my mid abdomen pain. By this point, I could hardly urinate, have a bowel movement and my legs were falling asleep. On this thread I read some people offered ideas for others, like pelvic floor muscle. That made sense to me, a restriction at my waist limiting blood, urine and poop to travel through. I read a few things there but study was more than I could physically handle.
My family and I were desperate for help. I knew I was toxic because my face was a pale green yellow one day. I hadn't been able to stand up straight for a few months. I wasn't able to go to work. My world was getting dark and closing in.
My husband called one of his aunts and told her his wife was sick. She said we could meet her at their house. Her and I visited and I told her what I knew from the doctors but all that didn't explain my problems. That I've just been told it's IBS. She asked me if I've ever been hit or injured. Well yeah! Who hasn't! She informed me that nerves if damaged or pinched can do odd things. So her and my husband got in touch with her doctor of 30+ years that knew how to see were and what wasn't working right. He agreed to see me and found everything I had already been told by doctors plus things I didn't know. I was toxic from my large intestine dumping back into my small intestine, my pancreas wasn't doing its job, another muscle/valve in my colon wasn't working, I had a pocket/droop in my colon that held waist even though some was still getting by, well the list goes on. In three hours, this man helped me more than any other doctor ever had been able to in 40 years. Without surgery! It took two appointments and I feel better than I've ever felt! My balance is even better! I wore high heels two days later and could walk in them comfortably for the first time ever!!! It was hard to get the money to see him because our insurance doesn't cover it, but my husband and I both feel it was a small price to pay for the results we both witnessed.
