Hello MissVanGirl!

I am 23 years old and I too 3-4 times a year. The only difference between you and I, is that when u do get it, it usually last 4 days and I bleed lightly.sometimes I forget when is the last time I had it and when I go to the doctor I have difficulty answering that question because my period rarely comes. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years with no luck. I'm not sure if it's just me or if it's because he smokes medical marijuana or a mixture of both. We will try this coming year again, if no luck I will definitely seek the gynecologist for some answers. I'm afraid there may be something wrong with me too. When I was in my teen years, I would get immense pains during my pd. Two of those times I had to be carried away because u couldn't walk, id be shaking on the floor had chills all over my body, felt super cold but was sweating profusely. When I was a child, 2 years old I had a botched appendectomy thus leaving me with a 12 inch scar on my belly. Dr's said I would be able to have kids, now I'm beginning to fear the Dr was wrong...

My apologies, made a few typos. Meant "I" instead of "U"

Hii, I am 25 years old. I also have the same problem since i was 15. I also don't have any PCOD symptoms, thyroid and hormonal issues. I have consulted with many gynecologists and they said its normal. But the thought of complexities of having a baby has been captured my mind.I don't think it has a solution as my case is going to over more than 10 years and the problem is still persisting.

I'm 18 and I get my period every 4-5 months and it worries me. I'm not sexually active and I asked my doctor and she said it may be due to poor eating habits and stress which are two things I am experiencing. The last time I got my period was January 2016 and it is now May 2016. I want to see the doctor again and ask for further help, but I still have been eating poorly. I don't know if I should start eating healthy and wait for results or go seek further help.

Same with me. Although I used to be 60-70 under the normal weight for a 12 year old. Right before I got my first period I started gaining weight, since then my period has come every 2-3 months and at any given time. It usually lasts 4-5 days. And the cramps are pretty harsh. But I asked my mom who used to be a obi/gyn nurse and she said for a petite girl like me it's normal. Also my period is usually heavier than normal so I was prescribed iron pills for when I do get my period because I get tired.

Hi, I'm 13 and this also happens to me. I had my first period on November 3rd and my second on 8th February and I became worried, I looked online and found this is often due to lots of exercise, weight loss and stress. It also said that periods that come this often usually last 2-3 weeks but mine last for a few days, they are also really light and I hardly get cramps. I am getting tested to see if anything is wrong with me soon.

I have the same problem. I went to the doctor for it, and the results were the same as most of you. That its normal and not much can be done. They suggested birth control but I was afraid of what it would do to my body, so I didn't take them. I sometimes cramp up without being on my period, I don't know if that is normal. I bloat alot also, do any or you ladies feel bloated because of it?

I sort of have the same problem, I'm 15 and I got my period when I was 12. I have never been regular and most of the time I'm made fun at playfully by my other friends because of my irregularness. I've been to the doctor about it and he said i was perfectly fine. My biggest gap was 7 months, I'm not worried about having kids just yet because I don't really think that their right for me, its just who I am. But I just want to know what the hell is going on down there, I just wanna know that I am okay.
