After the removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes, it's not uncommon to experience vaginal discharge. The discharge may be due to changes in hormonal levels, inflammation, or infection. It's important to consult your healthcare provider to determine the cause of the discharge and to receive appropriate treatment.

Some possible causes of vaginal discharge after the removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes include:

  1. Surgical recovery: Vaginal discharge may be a normal part of the healing process after surgery. The discharge may be bloody at first and then become more clear or white.

  2. Hormonal changes: The removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes can cause a decrease in estrogen levels, which can lead to changes in vaginal discharge.

  3. Infection: In some cases, vaginal discharge may be a sign of infection, such as a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis.

  4. Fistula: In rare cases, surgery to remove ovaries and fallopian tubes can result in the formation of a fistula, which is an abnormal connection between two organs or tissues. A fistula can cause discharge from the vagina or other parts of the body.

Your doctor may recommend a physical exam, a pelvic exam, and/or diagnostic tests such as a culture or ultrasound.
