Go to St Mary's hospital and ask for review with Mr Justin Vale. He is a brilliant Urologist, he dealt with my renal issues and I have lived a truly good life since my reconstruction!

Vesicouretreal reflux? I was born with two but down to one which was a gift. I went to Mayo Clinic in MN back in 2010 and they were amazing. I would have a doc do a lab workup and see how your creatinine is - hopefully they are fx normally. Good Luck

I was told in 2013 during an emergency room visit that I had three kidneys.
I always knew I was different.
I don't look different.. I go about my daily activities..I have 4 healthy children.. At least I have one to donate if need be.

seems many here have 3 kidneys,maybe we all should donate one,that way alote of people would be helped,will go to my GP and try to find out more,hope its possible

I have 3 kidneys... when I was 5 it was found out when I had surgery for the flap to be closed more like you I had infection all the time. The closed it more and never had problems.. I'm 43 now

Today after being on this planet for so many years I came to know this fact. My leader Anamika Yadav have 3 kidneys . And she is leading a healthy life with no complications. I think it is just another wonder of God.

I believe I have. L.P.H.S. and ave had it for 30 plus yrs. My pain is so bad now,l cannot drive or take care of myself.l am 63 yrs young and cannot believe the reclining health the last 4 yrs.my life feels ruined and l have lost hope why is there no info on this syndrome?

Hi, I am 52 years old women and have three fully functioning kidneys all with their own tubes leading to my bladder. My Father has 8 percent function of one kidney and the other is dead i have the same blood type as him and am in processes of donating to him a kidney if we match in tissue type. I consider this a blessing and a gift from God that I am able too give him one since I have an extra. If all yours work maybe you can be a donor.

Hello! I have a wonderful friend with 3 kidneys and we discovered her kidneys are the dominant organ in her body which correlates to her personality type. Curious, can any others with 3 kidneys let me know if you share the following personality traits? This will help be determine if correlated. Personality traits include: ||| They rise to the occasion when under pressure, functioning best when they are needed, particularly if under time or performance pressure. If sufficient outside pressure doesn’t exist, they will create it, procrastinating until they get behind in their projects, which forces them to excel and move beyond their previous limits. Needing the stimulation of new concepts and projects, they experience the “routine, day-to-day stuff” boring. Relationships are of paramount importance to them; they are exceptionally good at helping others become more aware of their feelings and effectively communicate them. They are extremely visual, good at visualizing expected results and outcomes before they happen. At worst, are lazy or procrastinate too long or too much and get stuck. Please respond here. hello, I am also in Australia and was born with 3 kidneys. I am 68 years old and my 3rd Kidney was found when I was 11 years old. I had a biford operation on my right Kidney as the top of my right Kidney was deceased. I had another above it that was shrivelled up like a prune and it was left as it was not active. I have a huge history of other issues and have just found out my Kidneys are damaged and can not be repaired. I will be having tests etc to find out what is going on.
