this sounds just like another post on this site, but i want to ensure that i really have this and am not making fun of anyone with a related medical condition. i am 14 years old, 6' 2", 205 pounds (i don't know if this matters or not). i don't know if this is acne or not, but about 3 months ago i started developing small solid lumps around the bottom of my eyes, but the skin above them was normal so i didn't think they weren't zits, but i found that they could be popped through regular skin and then the puss would leak out. those went away. but just today i started scratching my arm and i found a lump at least the size of my index-finger nail. it feels like it is completely under my skin and attached to the muscle. when touched it feels very sore. maybe i'm a being paranoid but i want to know if this may be any kind of a cancer growth. or if those around my face may have been cancer growths. im just 14. only had 8th and 9th grade health classes that talked about cancer so i really dont know much but would appreciate an explanation. please respond.

Hi there, I don't think that it is something for you to worry about but I do think you should have it checked out by a medical professional. A lump on you is not automatically cancer so please realize that, and it's usually 9 times out of 10 something that's not cancer. But you should always get lumps checked out just to be sure. It could be what's known as cystic acne, which would hurt and be big like you are describing. You should still go to a doctor to have it checked, okay? Let me know how you're doing!

Well, I hit my arm 1 week ago, and it bruised pretty badly, and now there's a lump where the bruise was. It's between the top of my arm and my elbow. Can someone please help me? I'm 14 years old.
