I have a red bump with a darkish purplish circle on my vagina, it’s right on the outside of the labia on the skin above where the vagina and the anus meet. It’s slightly painful, I’ve tried to squeeze it (I know bad idea) just seeing if it was an infected hair because I shave everything but nothing came out except a little bit of clearness. Does anyone know what this could be? I’ve googled way too much so now I’ve scared myself thinking it could be herpes but it doesn’t look like any of the pictures I have seen and it’s only one bump.
It would be more likely be something like a boil, try putting a hot compress on it an see if that brings it to a head.
I went to the doctor and got tested for several things and the only thing that came back positive was BV, bacterial vaginosis. Still not sure what the bump is because the dark ring around it, but I’ll try hot compress. Thank you. It may have been from shaving and it got cut or my panties rubbed against it.
Is it to the side of your labia or is it actually behind the vagina entrance and in front the anus?
