I had my gallbladder removed in November 2008, it has been a year and I am still experiencing pains in the same area where the gallbladder was, its no different before, during or after a meal, my bowel movements have been bad, frequent, and normal. sometimes i go two or three days without one, sometimes i have to make sure theres a bathroom near when I eat. My wife and I have done a lot of research on line, there are so many different possibilities, the doctor has sent me for , CT scan, sonogram, ultrasound, upper GI, x-rays, blood tests, urine tests, no results found. she put me on antacids, i've been taking them for a few weeks now, no change, the pain is constant and uncomfortable. please help.
