I stopped taking norethisterone a week ago but I've still not had a period. I did have period pains and loss of appetite while taking them. I've done pregnancy tests every day to be sure, they are all negative. I did have the implant fitted and took ellaone all at the same time as norethisterone, so I'm guessing it's just because my body doesn't know what to do with all the hormones. Stupid me really. Have anyone gone longer than a week with no period after taking this?

I bled for 11 days after stopping medication but it's been 2 months now and period has not returned
I took my last tablet on Monday and Wednesday/Thursday I was in excruciating pain and was bleeding heavily. It was so bad I had to call out the emergency services, who were amazing. I can't find much information about how long this is supposed to last. I visited my doctor yesterday after going through my ultrasound from two weeks ago and have out me on the pill. More information is needed about this drug cause woken are just using it to delay periods without knowing what happens afterwards. I knew of the possible side effects of not taking it but I had no idea it would be that bad. It was horrible. Only now (in Friday) starting to feel better. However I have had a cold for 3 weeks and coughed and felt a passing and have started bleeding again. This has just been a complete nightmare for the last few weeks. I hope anyone who takes them has the proper information before hand cause I'd hate anyone to go through the same last twenty four hours as I've had.

Hi, I took them for 1 year, because i was breasfeeding. I just stop using them 2 weeks ago and sill no period. I did pregnancy test 3 days after my missed period and came back negative.. How long did it take for your period to come back?? thank you . I feel bloated, tired etc but it seems to be for stop the pill too :S idk

I've been on it for 8 years and stopped 4 weeks ago and no period. I have the cramps and tummy issues and painful breakst but no period. We too want to try and conceive but I'm not sure how long I will have to wait. I'm afraid since I was on it so long, it's going to be months and I'm already 40yo.
hi started taking utolvlan on the day i started period stopped it within 24 hours.. took them for around 5 days and since i have stopped taking them which was 1 week and 2 days ago could i be pregnant as i did have unprotected sex ?

I went to my gyn as my period was delayed for 3 months she suggested norethisterone tablets now its another mnth almost 4 months i didnt have my periods what should i do bfore gng to d doctr my boyfriend got norethisterone tablets from the medical shop as my period was delayed to enhance my periods he bought it he gave me 10 tablets n d dctr gave me 6 more tablets i had all the 16 tablets i didnt have my periods and i am scared what should i do pls hlp
