Hi!Im new here,and after spending 2 days at the hospital doctors think I have gastroinal vasculitis.I dont know what to think about all of this,I always thought IBS or possibly Chrohns as it seems to run in the family.I also was diagnosed with c dificile 2 years ago from antiobiotics from a tooth infection,and thats where the IBS symptoms began.I had the choice of staying at the hospital for 48 hours or they would call me in the next week to schedule a day of tests with specialists,I chose to come back for a day of tests.
I have had a few flares of pain,which also hurts in kidneys.I always thought passing stones.This time pain started in stoach and spread to kidney.After spending a day at hospitals doing tests,I recieved a call to come back on Sun,they found something.But the doctors seem puzzled,even told me that I was a puzzle.I think they cant understand why I have no fever or vomiting.I didnt when I had c dificile either though.The radiologist has asked doctors to go further with this as she saw something twice and there is blood inmy urine but all blood tests coming back negative for everything.I really wasn't expecting this,all of my questions just dissapeared,i almost forgot about the needle inmy arm as I was leaving.
I just dont know what to think and was hoping someone would have more information or experience with this,no I dont wish it on anyone.I have alot better than I did 5 days ago but stomach still hurts and find its worse at night.What can I expect from here?What kind of tests will I have with specialists?All I know is that it will be all day.And what does the future bring now??Im not really as stressed as my husband or my mother,maybe since Im still just surprised?Just dont know what to think.I am happy however since at least they are looking into this,a diagnosis will be made.Just so very confused.Thank you in advance to anyone who can answer my questions
