This may be too late to post but this might be the answer. The 'pimples' are not poppable (!), like normal as there is nothing in them but a little lymph. When I got this problem myself, it was the first sign (and still is) that I have been eating gluten to which I am intolerant (I now know!!). Try avoiding wheat, oats, barley and rye for a while and see if they go.

what you are describing are boils, staph. don't pop them!!!! have a doctor lance them. by popping them you are just spreading the staph through your body.

It could be MRSA, or a bad staph infection.  I had them on my arm for a long time, looked like pimples, but was a staph infection.  It happens very easily, as you have staph on your skin all the time....when you scratch or something like that, it could get in and easily cause an infection.  A round of antibiotics usually clears it up.  I am doctor, and i don't like to use antibiotics any more than i have to, but usually that will clear it up. See your doctor.

I'm pretty sure you have shingles. I get shingles at least once a year and only on my neck. Are your glands swollen and are the pimples crusty? If so, it's probably shingles. I'm not sure when this post was so maybe I'm too late with my reply.

I have the same happen to me on my neck. Mine is hard. I went to the Dr. & he gave me a medicine called Ceftin 500 mg to take to see if it will go away on its own, if not he will have to cut it out. I dont like taking medicines but i,m afraid it might be a cyst. Have you found a soultion for yours? I would appreciate any helpful ways to get rid of this on my neck! Thank you

i had 2 little ones on my neck, a good while back, picked them thinking spots, then i had 3.... they aint spots

i had 2 for along time, one which i kept picking, its now rock hard and larger, cannot get it to go away and it hurts in my brain if i pick it hard, no real marks but i can feel it

just today i feel two more. 110% do not pick or irritate them, they will spread!

as regards wheat, i did a phase where i ate alot of buiscuts and just this week i ate alot of bread/toast

both of which i never normally do,

doctor for me YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH

I had zits on the back of my neck for two years.  The doctors said wash and they will go away they did not.  My wife went to the dermo he gave her "ziana" samples.  I used them on my neck and the zits went away.  I have a pony tail, I think bacteria stays in the rubber bands and pony tail.  Try to get a prescription for Ziana and I think they will go away after a week.  Ziana costs $80, try to get some free samples from the dermo.
