I have been so ill for months now. in may i was very very ill and ended up having my galbladder removed with over 1000 stones in it. Now i have pancreatitis from the damage my galbladder caused my pancreas before being taken out. i am so scared because i googled it and it says that pancreatitis never goes away and that i could die from it. I dont know what to do , i cant eat anything or i get sick and the pain is o bad that it is hard to take care of my son alone. good thing for daycare!!!

I'm not a doctor, but Please google around on Lecithin (also known as phosphatidylcholine) for pancreatitis and ask your doctor about this.

You must not take any supplements without your doctors permission, but eggs contain all the lecithin you may need to help your pancreas recover.  The lecithin is in the yoke, and if the yoke is not cooked too hard you'll get the most benefit.  Sunny side up, over easy, soft boiled, or soft scrambled.

If you hate eggs and your doctor says it OK to take a lecithin supplement, "deoiled lecithin" (taken with food) may be best.  The soybean oil in lecithin gelcaps can go rancid once the bottle is opened and taking rancid lecithin is worse than taking nothing at all.

Malnutrition may affect your fertility, but get your health back and you'll be ready to make more babies!

Good Luck and GodSpeed to you!

I feel so badly for you---this gallbladder removal is no cake walk---I am 18 days post op and still have constant nausea and no appetite---have lost 11 pounds and was already thin---I have had so many tests---CT scans, abdo ultrasound, endoscope, bloodwork---small bowel scan---all normal except haven't gotten small bowel scan backkkso scared---this just feels horrible---no appetite---nauseous---are you getting better?

You are going to recover----just checking on you to see if you are better---pancreatitis does heal if you are given the right treatments---are you hospitalized? Are you still nauseated?---so maNY PEOPLE SAY THE NAUSEA TAKES TIME TO GO AWAY----you are young and the body is very resilient----my son had to have 60% of his liver removed from a sports injury at 25 and he is 39 and fine----very healthy----
