I had sex on the night of July 14th, with a condom, but it slipped. (I had to remove it post-sex with my fingers). To be on the safe side I took Plan B One-Step, but I had to wait 6 or so hours for the pharmacy to open. My last period started on June 27th. I've been having mild symptoms from the Plan B One-Step such as breast tenderness, but no nausea (this is pretty average for me - I've taken the morning after pill once before and I had no nausea).
I know I need to wait until my next period, but I don't know exactly how many days my cycle is. I've never charted my period before. However, my period has always been extremely regular, coming once a month, around the same day of month +/- a couple of days.
How soon should I start freaking out about possibly being pregnant? The Plan B One-Step says it works by preventing ovulation, but does anyone know what could happen if I had already ovulated when I had sex? The box says that it MAY prevent fertilization or implantation, but it is this "BUT" that is driving me nuts.
If anyone would have any helpful advice, I would really, truly, appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
