im 13 i weigh 190 and i would like to weigh 160 by the end of summer!!

To lose weight you simply need to start eating less calories per day and try exercising like walking for 30 minutes every day as well. Cut sugar out of your diet and eat tons of vegetables. Eat meat only once or twice a week. Eat fruits at least twice a day. No sodas, no junk food, no salt or sodium, eat low fat foods. Drink mainly water and tea with a zero calorie sweetener and no sugar. You can also drink 1% or 2% milk and a little fruit juice. Trying eating a lot of salads and pay attention to the amount of dressing you use. Ask your parents to get you healthy foods like apples, broccoli, lettuce, tomatoes, oranges, grape fruit, lean chicken or turkey and fish, carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, brown rice and 100% whole grain breads. i agree with phlox...you should try to eat less and your stomach will shrink so that you will be able to eat less but still feel full. Exercising is great, i jog 6 miles everyday, 3 in the morning, 3 before bed.

heey im 14 and am also trying to loose weight over the summer before i have to return back to school. what you need to do is go to the gym every single day, and try to eat smaller meals but more meals a day. also drink lots of water! since ive started doing this which was probably 2 months ago ive lost 15 pounds and only have 2 months left before school to loose more. im trying to do the same as you.. 160 is my goal, right now im at 195 and i know its hard but if you really want it, working out will become a habit. stay strong<3

hey just try to eat healthy do a lot of walking, I walk 3 times a day. I lost 16 pounds in a month. Just ask your parents to buy u healthy things to keep you on track to keep losing wait and don't give up!
