Each person progresses through puberty in their own way, and this is largely controlled genetically. Masturbation has no effect at all on the schedule in which your body matures. Semen (cum) is different for every male - sometimes it can look watery and sometimes it can be a thick white liquid. Please don't assume that what you see on porn videos is 'normal" - a lot of those movies are CGI enhanced. Having a small or large penis is also genetically controlled, and all males are different. The fact you can cum already means you are either in puberty, or have gone through puberty. Facial and other hair grows at different rates between people as well, and can also be a genetic trait. You don't mention your body type and size either, and this can impact on penis size in some cases. If your Dad is around, ask him what it was like when he went through puberty - it may be that he took a while also, and that will explain the lack of facial hair, etc that you are experiencing. Above all else, don't judge yourself based upon your friends. In the same way we have different body builds, hair and eye color, and skin tones, we also have different penis lengths, rate of hair growth, and lengths of time it takes us to complete puberty. Just enjoy being yourself, and enjoy your body.

Yes, puberty is controlled genetically and is not affected by how often you masturbate at all.

What a moronic response. A young man is asking about how long puberty will take and the effects on his body, and you suggest he has some sort of disease? Klinefelter Syndrome occurs in about 1/500 males and symptoms include increased height and larger than normal breasts - none of which have been mentioned in the questions asked. Boys being concerned about their body, penis size, and puberty is completely normal. Rather than alarming these boys with something which is a "worst case scenario", perhaps try and help them based upon the information they have given you only?

Hi. I'm 16 and haven't gone through puberty yet. I have hair in the groin area but my penis isn't as large as other males. Is there something wrong? And I feel that I get an erection but turns out false. What do I do?
