Hi, I'm 22 years old and I was wondering if someone would be able to give me some infomation or if anyone out there has been having these same symptons: Having a period for a month and a half very Heavy, Abnormal amount of Blood Clogs, Pain in lower mid-section, Migrains, Faint, Mood Swings. I been to the Doctor so many times. I've been Sexual Activy with one partner for 2 Years. First Year didn't use Birth Control (Pill). But did use Condom. Started using The Pill (Alesse, The 21 Pill Pack from June,07 - Sept, 07) Than Stopped taking the Pill from Sept, 07 -March 3, 07 and this is when this abnormal period started and it being April 15 now I'm still on my period with these Symptons. If anyone has any idea of what I can look into what maybe causing this or if anyone is expercing the same thing Please Post a Message.
Okay, so I'm having the exact same problem. Except I'm 16 and I've never had sex or used any type of birth control. I honestly don't know what the problem could be. I've never been to the GYN so it kind of freaks me out. And I'm a high stress type of person so I am just worried. My mother said it could be from stress...but idk...its never happened before.
I had this problem whem i was thirteen years old and it was the worst. I felt so weak and had no energy to do anything. I went to the doctors and told him a had my period for about a month and he did a bone- narrow surgery ( i think i spelled it wrong lol) any way after the surgery he put me on birth control pills to stop the bleeding and this worked great :-). The doctor also priscribed me to take iron pills to get my energy bak and to eat foods that have lots of iron. Hope i helped and good luck. :-D
I think that if you're not on birth control now that it would be a good time to start. If you are experiencing pain like this then it is likely due to some sort of stress or hormone imbalance. THe best course of action for you would be to talk to your doctor about going on birth control because it can regulate your period and that's way helpful if you're suffering from problems like that. Keep me posted on what you think!
Well, I have been having the same problem since the beginning of this year. The put me on birth control to try to regulate it and it didn't work. Then I got Mirena put in and they said that should completely stop my period over time. Yet it only stopped for like a week and then started right back up. What else could be going on to cause this because it is really getting on my nerves bad and I just wish it would stop?
Just from experience, I would definitely get a second opinion if your period lasts a month. My MIL (Mother in Law) had her period nonstop for 6 or7 months and finally went to a gynecologist....They told her she had cancerous cells in her uterous and had to have a hysterectomy. I don't want to scare any of you, but it could be something more serious...
