Hello!
I took plan B four hours after having sexual intercourse without using protection.
When it happened, mY period was supposed to come in few days. That is when I started bleeding. Bleeding continued for about 5 days as usual.
I was relived, but now, 3 weeks later, I'm afraid I'm having most of pregnancy symptoms - as they are so close to PMS symptoms (sore breasts, acne) it's difficult to tell, but frequent urination and abdominal bloating, that I've been experiencing last three days, concern me the most.
I took a pregnancy test 19 days after the intercourse.
It was negative. I will take it again in few days, as 21 and more is recommended time for more precise results.
What in my case could be chances for pregnancy? Could it be that I got my period on time and am about to get the next one early because of hormonal changes after taking plan B? Or was it likely plan B caused bleeding and I have missed my period.
I'm confused because in my case the bleeding started exactly when I was supposed to get my period.
I will appreciate any advice .
Thank you.

We are in the exact same situation. (Which is rare) been reading alot but never got an answer. Did you end up pregnant though? Please answer.
Bleeding is normal after taking the Plan B. As long as you took the pill within 72hrs or even an hour after sex, you will be fine. Don't psych yourself out anymore than you don't need to. Stress can make the period even later and psych your body out more. Then more stressful research for answers you don't even have to worry about. Just forget about, "am I pregnant" and live you're life. Your period will come back normally!
So yesterday was the 6th day after I took plan b. I got very heavy bleeding. Is that a sign that my period is early? Because my period is not supposed to start in 10 days. And also do you think I can be pregnant?
Me and my gf had sex the condom broke I didn't know but I pulled out before I came. Then she wanted it again about 20-30 mins later I think the cum was dry on my penis but she took a plan b about 36 hours later. Should we be alright
February 14-17 me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex. It wasn’t until February 21 that i took ‘take action’, another form of plan b. The 26-27 i had came back from a trip and me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex AGAIN. The 28th i had spotting/ light bleeding but not a normal period. The week after i started getting nauseous, sore boobs, darkened nipples.... the list goes on. It is now March 13, and every time i test i still am negative. Am i just testing too early? My period isn’t for another day...
do you also experience white vaginal discharge?
Yes i did. We had sex again and i started bleeding. Should i be worried?
I had sex on Saturday 17 March then the condom bust i quickly drink the morning after pill that minute it bust an i got my period to today on the 21 while they were suppose to come on 27 March i am i safe or not
I took the plan b pill less than 24hours after I had sex it’s a week and I’m spotting does that mean I’m pregnant?
i’m going through the same thing are you pregnant?
What if I took it on the 4 day that morning a day late and I’m spotting now and all
I know this won’t help the original poster, but if you were like me and googling stuff about plan b nonstop, I hope this helps ease your mind. Me and my boyfriend (now ex) had sex on day 19 of my cycle (there’s a good chance I was fertile because I have a 32 day cycle). Well long story short, the condom broke during the last minute. He always pulls out just to be safe, but he wasn’t sure if he got any sperm inside of me, plus there’s always precum. Within two hours I got plan b. I didn’t have any symptoms until 4 days later. I had stomach cramps, headache, bloating, and my withdrawal bleed started. It was brown, then red, 4 days long, full of clots, and very heavy. Then my symptoms went away for two weeks. I had read online that withdrawal bleed does not mean anything so I should get my regular period, but this seemed too early to be my regular period. Well two weeks later I began having mild cramps in my lower abdomen, headaches, light headedness, frequent urination, food aversions, and back cramps. One day the cramps were so bad I doubled over on my bed and couldn’t move. I just knew I was pregnant because my period had still not come. The same week the cramps started, I had a lot of snot-like discharge. I have never been so anxious because both our families are very strict (even though we are both freshmen in college). We were in a long distance relationship while school was going (different states) and we are both on athletic scholarships and fully financially dependent on our parents so having a child would ruin our lives. We broke up because he felt he wasn’t ready for the stresses of a serious relationship (which is probably for the better). My period finally came 31 days after my plan b period (2 1/2 weeks later than my original period date) so it basically reset my cycle. Bleeding heavier than spotting is a good sign that plan b worked for you and those side effects are just from the hormones! They can last more than a month so most likely you’re fine!
Hey! I’m not a doctor but I took plan b like a week ago and I felt like that after too ! The guy that prescribed it to me (it was in Quebec and their policies are different so it has to be prescribed) said its normal to feel nausea and other symptoms from the plan b pill. He also said it’s totally normal to have your period start earlier than it should, but it’s also very normal for it to be late about a week or two. Hope this helps!
