Hello! I have had some problems with bowel movements, or let’s better say diarrhea which was too often that started to frighten me. I went to the doc and he told me to get immodium which should help me in regulating BMs. Now, I am interested if somebody had already experienced Imodium, what the effects were and if they had any side effects. All replies are welcome! Thx
Hi! Imodium reduces symptoms of diarrhea by slowing the activity of the intestines and affecting the movement of water and chemicals through the bowel. The problem with the side effects is that they are hard to distinguish from the diarrhea symptoms. However, they could be Abdominal distention, abdominal pain or discomfort, allergic reactions, including skin rash, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea and vomiting, and tiredness. I luckily haven’t experienced any of this. I just had positive effects and I used Imodium in liquid form.
