I am 24 years old and have been on Alesse for 6 years now. My fiance and I have never had unprotected sex. 3 months ago I started my period a week early. It was a full period, cramps and all. The next month was normal again but last month I started a week early, once again but this time it was very light (did not have to wear a pad but there was blood and mucous lining when I wiped - Sorry!) and lasted for a week. I am supposed to start my period next week, in a few days, but I am worried that I might be pregnant. I haven't had any symptoms of pregnancy like morning sickness, nausea or fatigue but I am still worried. I took a pregnancy test this morning but it was a dud (the control window did not have a stripe) and last night I started to feel the normal pains that I usually get a few days before my cycle. Does anyone have any suggestions or common experiences to this?
It could be that your body is still tyring to get back on track from being on birth control for so many years..Since it was a dud I would suggest retaking the test just to see...If you are neg, then I would suggest going back to the place where you was getting your birth control and ask them....Hope this helps
