Hello, I am 35 years old and this is my fifth year of migraine problems. I have to say that his condition has completely changed my life for worse, headaches happen often with nausea, vomiting, even blurred vision. Headaches are affecting only one half of the head, but until now, I could not deal with that successfully. I have heard that Indocin might be helpful in these situations. Is Indocin really that effective for headaches?
Well, Indocin is considered for one of the strongest medications that decrease secretion of prostaglandins, inflammation mediators. My mother has used it for her migraine problems, and i can say freely that it was effective in that area. The problem is, side effects might just be too severe to be handled easily. She had problems with nausea, dizziness, and sometimes, which is a paradox, she had headaches because of that drug. Still, it helped more than other drugs.
