Going way back up to the top - I find I get it mostly after drinking. Thats the only connection I could consistantly make but after reading all this I'll have to watch my diet as well.

Mind you, I did spend a lot of the day in the sun and had a coupla glasses wine with supper, so maybe those affected PH or something as others have mentioned. Still in my mind, after years of this occasional problem, I'm convinced its the (recurring poor choice of) lube substitute.

Well it seems to me that it's well established that this is a problem for us all. However, something that troubles me is that there seems to be no medical name for it as of yet. Why don't we assign it one so we can benefit the community with not only suggestions for identifying and solving it, but also maybe giving them a shorthand.
I'll post a few ideas below, people take your votes or post your own suggestions ^_^
Ignis Dolor (Fire Pain)
Igdolor
Igrethera (Fire + Urethra)
Dulcia Noceat (Sweets Pain)
Dulceat
Brittle-Sword Syndrome
Those are just a few. If you got something better (probably do) that rolls of the tongue, let us know. FOR THE SAKE OF SCIENCE!

I'm sitting on the toilet and the pain has started to subside, but I have to comment that i'm certainly experiencing the same symptoms as described above.
It happens about 10% of the time after masturbation/sex.
I don't believe it has such a PH basis as it does physical irritation to a sensitive tissue. It occurs for me if i'm not properly lubricated and during longer sessions.
The penis itself is built for this sort of stimulation but as far as I can tell, the urethra does not share this same durability.
Just my two cents

Try Preservative Free Wines. It would appear to be the answer for me over the last three months. I now drink red wine and get a good night sleep.
