Hello. I'm 30 year old woman. I'm married for about three years and my husband and I live in a big house with everything you could imagine. We both have big salaries and we both are very satisfied with our jobs. We have everything accept one thing -kids!
My husband tried many times to get me pregnant but nothing helped.
We were desperate.
Than we decided to seek for medical help to determine the right cause of our infertility!
Doctor found nothing was wrong with my husband but my gynecologist found that I have some condition called endometrosis.
What kind of disease this is and will I ever have children?
Yes, I think I know how you feel right now. I experienced same thing ten years ago. Now I have three beautiful kids.
So, you don’t have to worry a lot.
Endometrosis, a cause of female infertility, is a condition in which endometrial tissue, the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus, grows outside the uterus and attaches to other organs in the abdominal cavity such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
The cause of endometrosis is unknown though there are a few theories that suggest possible causes. One of them is that during normal menstrual cycle blood return from uterus to the fallopian tubes and delivers small uterine cells out of uterus where they implant and grow.
Best thing is that this condition is curable. You should talk with your gynecologist and schedule an operation.

I had a reconstructive surgery in Sept of 2006 which they cut me open like a c section.
I was told that I would be good for a year endometrosis so I could get pregnant and enjoy our little and then have a hystrorectomy.
Well it has been four months since my surgery and guess what Endometrosis is back.
Now they are wanting me to take Lupron which stops your period for 6 months endometrosis free. Then you have 6months to a year of being clean and your tubes being open to get pregnant.. So why is it that two doctors are wanting me to do this but the one doctor said its the worst you could to yourself and will cause you never to get pregnant.
I personally never get a break to be able to try to get pregnant.
I have been on so many birth controls they never worked. It seems as there is no hope to us girls that have endometrosis this bad. I am seeing a fertility doctor and wants me to do the Lupron. WHY? I am in severe pain and sick all the time because of this endometrosis. I just want a child and can't have one.
HELP???!!!!!

Endometrosis is not a curable disease, although its severity can come and go with treatments including surgery, drugs and etc. It can inhibit fertility and is generally considered to be progressive. You should see an experienced reproductive endocronologist to evauluate your endo, it is usually described in stages :I, II, III, IV. Surgery can provide relief but should be performed by a dr who is skilled and knows you wish to preserve your fertility.
