I recently had some very bad headaches daily. So severe that I was dizzy and weak. I started thinking about recent changes to my diet and the only thing I had changed was I started drinking vitamin water. I checked the ingredients and one listed was Green Tea. I stopped drinking the water and no more headaches.

oxidants comes from all the unhealthy food that we consume, its like germs in a bathroom, it takes hard work to get rid of germs, to clean up, and so your body, The oxidants want to stay, its like someone who had smoked or taken drugs,, and suddenly stop consuming it, your body still seeks it, but some change had to take place which is not easy, and comes with pain to clean up your organs. Your blood pressure can rise, your sugar levels can rise, headaches appear, you just had to pull through till your body had cleanse itself and got rid of the oxidants. To balance these symptoms you need to do short distance brief walking 3 times a day The end result come after 4 weeks suffer, you will have more energy, feeling slimmer, more brain memory and lots more. Just limit junk food to one sml plate once a week, and the rest of the the week, green salads and veggies, green tea, and lots of fresh fruits, if drink fresh juice from the shelf due to much sugar it need to be diluted, to avoid poising your body again.

I was getting exactly the same symptoms. I really wanted to drink green tea because I had head about the health benefits. Kept trying but suffered from (almost immediate) headache centered in the middle of my forehead. I can only liken it to a very bad hangover! After some trial and error, I realized that this happened when I was dehydrated. If I drank plenty of water for 2 days prior to drinking the green tea, it didn't give me a headache. If I stopped taking in water and tried to drink the tea, boom, the headache was back. Hoping that helps those of you that want to drink green tea but are suffering.

I think it almost certainly has to be dehydration. I haven never been a tea drinker but decided to join the masses and try drinking green tea for January. I almost immediately started getting a mild, persistent headache at the front of my forehead, similar to when I have exercised and not taken on enough water, or been out shopping with the kids and not had a drink. I think this is purely down to the fact that tea is a diuretic and my body is not used to it. I think if I take on much more water than normal (and get into the habit of doing so!) then all will be fine.
I guess it's a bit like trying to flush a toilet, one flush and it all goes through but if you don't keep filling the bowl ... Actually it's nothing like flushing a toilet. Now trying to think of an analogy is giving me a worse headache.
It's dehydration, let's leave it at that.

Hi I started taking the green tee pills to loose weight as I also found a cumin base slimming tee from tree of life (hot pink box) and I have been taking the pills 2 times a day and the te 3 times a day! Although I am going to the bathroom a lot and drinking lots of water I am still coming down with headaches! I don't want to stop as I need to shed some pounds but do you think I can harm myself? I am a gastric bypass post patient ( 13+ years already). Please help!!!

I started drinking hot green tea and ended up with terrible headaches and nausea. I now make ice tea which is diluted and is better. I do believe the brand of the tea does make a difference.

I started drinking Fadna Shape-up Tea yesterday morning and ended up with a head ache. I had another cup before I went to bed and woke up a couple of hours later with another headache and had to take a pain killer. I don't know whether it will pass or not but I don't want to continue if it doesn't.
