Is this a yeast infection or herpes?

Hey! i think i could have a possible yeast infection. I'm in college, so i have an apointment with the health center tomorrow to get it checked out. My Symptoms include: these 2 scars that kind of look like paper cuts on opposite sides of my vagina. It doesn't burn when i pee, but there is slight burning after i scratch it. I have no bumps down there or anything. the scars are red. I've had this for about a month and a half. I thought that the scars came from scratching to hard, but they have yet to go away. At first when I had this, I did have a greater than normal amount of discharge, but that seemed to fade away. The scars are sensitive to the touch when irritated. Also when I first got this it was very very itchy. But now the itchiness has died down, and I usually forget that I have these scars because it hasn't been itchy or burning for the past week and a half. But yesturday i became a little more worried, and looked again to see if the scars were still there, and low and behold they are. Now they are irritated again and i have a bit of a burning sensation, but still not when i pee. I also thought of the possibility that it could be herpes, but HSV-1. But my boyfriend and I are not sexually active, just have oral sex. He came and visited in February, but I didn't get this until around March. I asked him did he have any type of cold sore, and he said no. Regardless, does this sound more like a yeast infection or herpes? if it is a yeast infection or herpes did i wait TOO long to be treated? its only been a month and a half! any answers would be great! im freaking out! Please help!
