I've been having an itchy penis for the past few weeks it seems to come and go, feels very good to itch but also hurts after.
i thought it could have been a yeast infection but theres not flaky skin or dryness, but sometimes there is a yellowy white residue under my foreskin.
i've been with my gf for 9 months now and its only really started in the past 2 months, she has no symptoms thankfully and we're not sexually active until my problem is sorted.
any ideas what it could be?

It's time to visit the doctor.
Two things concern me. The itch and the possible yellowy white residue. The residue could be from a discharge.
The possibilities include chlamydia and gonorrhea. A test is needed to confirm.
Your gf should be tested as well, symptoms or not.
