I am a little bit familiar with Jenny Craig commercial diet centers ¡KI mean I am familiar with the concept. But I don't know the essence of Jenny Craig diet. Could anyone inform me PLS?

Jenny Craig diet follows food guide pyramid. This is a reduced calorie diet and it is focused on balanced nutrition: 60 %carbs, 20 %fat, 20 %protein. Everything till now is ok, considering the food guide pyramid. But Jenny Craig also focuses on the consumption of pre-packaged meals. On one hand, this can be helpful, since it can control your portions; on the other hand the diet fails in prepairing the dieter to prepare food himself/herself once the diet is over. This can result in weight gain, again ļ But, I must not be so critical- there must be some selfcontrol in every dieter after Jenny Craig diet. However, Jenny Craig diet is much better option than diet pills or diet supplements.
