The person, or marketing entity making these obnoxious claims about Juice Plus being almost like an evil empire of deceit, is quite simply put way out of line. I am a user of JP and also a health enthusiast, I would have this person know that Juice Plus marketing is not in any way unethical, in fact all the seminars I have been to when making my purchase decision for JP endorsed healthy diet and majority of the focus was on exposing Health myths which require considerably more than 5 minutes of google research to find out the truth. Explanation of healthy foods to eat and how to prepare these was the primary emphasis in the meetings I attended.
I enjoy being healthy, and I eat allot of vegetables and fresh fruit. I cannot believe one would want to take the likes of peptides such as amino acids and the numerous other unhealthy vitamin supplements that the person smearing this website is writing about.
"Juice Plus is also deficient in thiamin, riboflavin, chromium, copper, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, and zinc." Hahahaha this is a fallacy beyond comprehension
chromium for starters is a chemical element, and the body requires minimal trace elements of chromium. It is in actual fact harder to eliminate chromium in our bodies, as we get to much of it in the horrible foods people eat these days.
People please take my word for it, JP is awesome. I love it.
Remember this statement "if your grandmothers mother would not recognize a product, do not consume it" - I challenge anyone to find a single ingredient their grandmothers mother would not recognize. JP is harmless and is great for me personally.

This amounts to little more than weak anecdotal evidence and a misrepresentational appeal to authority ("hey, some doctors like it").
Being a doctor doesn't immunize a person from BS. Plenty of practicing physicians fail to understand science, and your claim of "overwhelming support in the medical industry " is baseless. Vitamin supplements in general don't even have that kind of support.
Bottom line: Juice Plus is mostly marketing, and has time and time again failed to prove itself in honest studies.
It's easy to validate a preconception with some cursory internet research. It's much harder to sell snake oil to an informed consumer base. Sadly enough, there's plenty of new folks at the bottom of the pyramid propping it up...

Oh boy! All the fighting going on here lol! I am one who is into natural supplements and holistic health/healing. Before I get any nasty comments, I am not against science or anti-biotics ect. With ANYTHING be a drug, prescription or OCT or natural supplelments results will vary! This does not mean that one is "bad" and one is "good", it means that everones body and issues with their body are different. For example, my Mom and I take probiotics. The one she loves and the one I love are different brands. Same with OTC meds. My husband loves Sudafed for colds and it doesn't do squat for me. Same with Juice Plus. Now I am not a distributor BTW, I just took my first dose today(a sample) and I'm going to see what happens. I'm going to guess that the overall health of your body makes a difference on the affect. For example, I did not know for years that I was gluten intollernt. I took probiotcs like the were going out of style and tried many different brands. They would work a little but my stomach was still messed up. I finally caved and went to a Gastro Doc where I was diagnosed Gluten intolerent. I eliminated gluten and my stomach improved. I went back to one of the probiotic brands that the doc reccomended and now my stomach is great. Just becasue it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's a "scam" and just becasue it worked wonders for you doesn't make it "the holy grail of the industry." Everyone should research and then try a supplement and see what it does for them. And BTW, Juice Plus does state on their website that their product is not a replacement for fresh fruits and veggies, just a supplelement. That would be like taking a multivitamin and not eating food.

I am wondering if anyone who is against Juice Plus has tried it? Are they saying its a scam because they tried it an it did not do anything for them?

I'm not sure of powdered ones but I do use natural aloe vera juice which is a detox and digestive system maintenance. Very efficient though.

Hi,
I am a medical student and i have a keen interest in medical research. My friends have recently started to sell JP so i read through all the articles that have been published on JP.
All the articles in favour of JP are sponsored by NSA (the company that make it). The British Medical Journal does not publish any research from drug company sponsored work. This is because sponsored research by drug companies are more likely to show a positive result.
NSA claim that JP boosts your immune system but the studies they quote for this just show that JP capsule boost the level of Beta carotene. The study doesn’t actually look at any clinical outcomes.
The sample sizes in the studies are very small. For those of you that don’t know much about research larger studies carry much more weight to smaller studies.
The studies also only compare JP against a placebo. If you wanted to show a new drug worked you would have to compare it to the current drug on the market to show it was better.
In England people are told to eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. The reason why people are encouraged to eat fruit and vegetables is that they make you feel full so you don’t eat other foods which are unhealthy. Taking a capsule doesn’t achieve this. The capsules don’t contain the fibre from the 17 fruits and vegetables. High fibre diets have been shown to decrease the risk of bowel cancer. The vast majority of people do not require vitamin supplements. The only vitamin people tend to lack in is VitD which is not in JP.
The argument of Doctors endorse so it must be good is rubbish. If the doctors sell the product then they have a vested interest in endorsing it. Also just because you are a doctor doesn’t mean you understand scientific research.
I am not saying JP is bad. If you are going to spend £1.80 a day on capsules you are probably going to make other lifestyle choices like changing your diet and exercising more which is very beneficial for your health.

There is a similar product out there that is like JP its called Juice Rite. Fraction of the price, can be bought in monthly increments rather than 3-4 months. My aunt tried JP and felt nothing. She tried Juice Rite and she said she feels better in herself just more alert, skins better etc.
Lets see how many JP reps are quick to dismiss Juice Rite...
Let the games begin.

I have tried it and no, I don't believe the hype! Yes, I felt better after I started using it, of course I did as at the same time I also changed my diet, with of course encouragement from JP! Having stopped taking it but continuing with the same healthy eating (which in all honesty I should of been doing before in any case) I feel no different, in fact slightly better as my fitness and healthy eating has now been established longer. Juice plus DO NOT own the rights to healthy eating, you don't need to by there products to practise this way of life. Perhpas they bring some small benefit, it wouldn't be a surprise would it? They are after all only fruit and veg, albeit processed, but they are still ripping people of MASSIVELY. I worked for many years in an environment where we freeze dried ingredients for human consumption, I know how much the process costs, and JP is a rip off. Their marketing on top of this is very deceptive, only gives one side of any story and is manipulative. Whilst I worked for them I contacted 2 universities one in the UK and one abroad, who so say had researched this product according to JP, neither university had done such a thing. The layers for both Uni's are on the case, though the claim about one of the universities has already been taken down. I have yet to find a single Doctor, health professional or any other person for that matter that endorses JP unless they themselves sell it.
