i just had my Barth gland removed a couple days ago. i've had reoccurring cysts for years now. i hope this is the end of it. Its so embarrassing and not to mention painful when they come. Its usually right after sex, it swells up and fills up with liquid. Its like the evil sex god is doing this to me on purpose. lol. Every time i wanna have sex it comes. It eventually pops and drains, then it feels relieved. When my husband wants to go downtown its embarrassing. I tried to hide it by turning off the lights when we would have sex. One day i showed him and he was grossed out, he teased me herpes and that i had STD's. (which it wasn't) but kinda looked like herpes haha. (open wound after it ruptured) I felt really self conscious about it after that. I decided to have the entire gland removed since it was kept reoccurring. I hope this works. So I'm laying in bed bored as s***!! so i decided to tell my story :-) It's kinda relieving to know that I'm not the only one with this. BUT why??? Why wouldnt it go away before. My labia is swollen and looks deformed. It doesn't even look like a vagina. It's hard, black & blue and looks ugly. And my ass hurts. It feels like my doctor stitched in a razor blade, every time i walk it hurts. *ouch* The worst part of it all is NO sex for a month. I wanna kill myself!! grrrrr!!! I guess i get to work on my BJ's and hand jobs.

I would recommend getting the entire gland removed. I figured NO gland, no more cysts. RIght??? :-)
