I just lost my virginity a few days ago and now I cautious about everything going on in my body. I urinate frequently and I don't know if that's common/normal. I spotted slightly the first day but after that there was nothing else besides my consant need to run to the bathroom.

(By the way we did use a condom)

Thanks for any help.

this is completely normal, it is painful to urinate for a little while, some women spot, some dont. if you do or do not bleed it is completely normal either way. so dont worry, nothing wrong here!

If its painful and you get a burning sensation you could have a urinary tract infection

I have the same issue except I don't know if I stopped spotting...For 4 days now I've found brown "stuff" on my panty liner. I'm not in any pain or discomfort. What should I do? I really don't want to have to see a gyno!

Well i literally just lost my v card today, as in my boyfriend left like 30 minutes ago!! But um, i did peed right before i got in the shower to you know, wash up down there, the peeing did not burn. I feel a little tenderness down there now but i am completely fine and i did not bleed one bit!!. It felt fantastic!! And I love my boyfriend to death!! I feel different now that I am not a virgin but not in a bad way, I feel more grown up!

By the way i will be 14 at the end of this month! :-D

Okay, whew. going to the bathroom often isn't a symtom that I am aware of, unless you have been drinking a lot of water. It would be painful to urinate afterwards if you didn't pee soon after having sex, or even masturbating, because not doing so can lead to infection. The brown "stuff" that a guest here found could simply be due to just having finished off with your period, discharging brown mucus after a period is normal. I hope that answers some questions.
