I've heard pure tea tree oil works. It's so much cheaper than injections and more accessible if they come back. You have to dilute 100% pure oil, but I've heard very good things about it. Try YouTube for before and after videos by real people....

Of course you will find someone!! I cut myself trying to shave with scissors hence the keloids...they itch like crazy but my husband doesn't care. Using raw shea butter might help reduce the itching

Hello,

I want to share my personal experience. I myself have some keloid scars on my body. The latest and the most aggresive keloid scars I have, came from waxing - brazilian waxing to be exact. The first few years I tried this brazilian waxing was totally fine. Until (around 2016) I realized that I got some small dark dots (ingrown hair) that later developed to small bumps. It got bigger and bigger, and until now I am writing this, it is still untreated, growing bigger, looking so ugly and feel really painful. I already went to a dermatologist and he suggested me to have these keloid scars on my V area removed through a surgery and immediately (one day after the surgery) treated with radiation therapy 4 times 4 days in a row. I am scheduled to have the surgery end of March.

Is there anyone here ever treated with surgery & radiation therapy? I want to know your experience, please share ;-)

For those who have no idea about keloid scars, believe me .. keloid scars can grow bigger and bigger. If you know you have keloid or some unknown bumps (that look like keloid) on your V area because of shaving/waxing, I strongly suggest you to stop doing that. It is indeed very stressful to accept the fact that we have to let this hair grow on our V area, but having keloid scars is a way much more stressful, very depressing and such a life changing experience.

Thank you for reading my post and I look forward to reading more stories/experiences ;-)

The radiology doctor will send you for CT scan, to check the exact position of your ovaries and the possibility on how it will be affected from the radiotherapy.

So I got my vaginal keloid when I was 5 years old. I had the chickenpox and it grew plus two others (shoulder and side).
I itched a lot and I had pain so my parents had it removed and by the next year it grew back 3 times as big.
So they removed it again but had a female radiologist. I had radiation for 3 days after surgery. It hasn't grown back and I'll be 28 this year.
After coming down with herpes I'm scared the sores could turn into keloids and my scar area from decades ago now itches more.
But I shave just fine. I just need to have a new razors a great shaving soap (not cream)

Hi, I too have vaginal and pelvic keloids,. I have had surgery down there at least six times. I have four on back that are pretty flat, never had surgery on those. And have keloids various other places from chicken pox at 19. I have been getting injections for over 20 years. I hate these things, but I have not met a man that has ever had a problem with th, it’s me!!! After 40 I am learning to deal with th as a part of me. I have two on my shoulder, I now wear shirts that cut off, i got tatoos and did not keloid. My advice to you all is to get the injections, but know they can cause it to stretch due to the skin trauma. Sometimes I get a little depressed and have no one that truly understands. My husband doesn’t, because he says he doesn’t focus on them, but me. Hang in there, don’t be afraid to show them, that’s how you take the power back.

Try using shaving cream instead as using a blade to shave can increase the occurrence of more keloids
