This SAME EXACT thing has been happening to me. It feels just like a baby moving the early part of pregnancy (say 15-22 weeks). It doesn't really feel like gas pains as gas pains are usually lower... the location is above your belly button, but primarily on the right side & feel like it's closer to your rib cage. It's the most bizarre thing - I have a 5 month old so it wasn't that long ago I remember those baby movements. With that said, we are NOT ready for another baby yet, so I truly hope this is muscle spasms like someone mentioned. My hubby & I are both relieved to know that I'm not the only once experiecing the weirdness. What did anyone ever do before the internet?

I am 73, have Coeliac disease and reflux problems. I now have the sensations described in these posts which are new. These happen most frequently after a meal - can be 3 hours - when I lie down. It is not gas in my opinion because the movement is different to gas bubbles. They are occurring every day now. Being an undiagnosed Coeliac for many years I am very familiar with gas bubbles. It occurs in my stomach and not my abdominal area. Could it be a nervous system problem, I wonder?
