I admit that I have thought that I would feel the improvement right after the lasik surgery, but that did not happen. I mean, 4 weeks have passed and I still have a blurry vision. I know that in some cases, recovery takes a lot more than usual, but is this too long?

Hmm, it really is too long. I know of some people that went for that operation and they were fine really soon, although I also know it might take a while before the improvement is shown. I think that you should leave all your doubts aside and consult the doctor who performed the procedure; he will give you the most accurate information.
